your beloved boyfriend was very intimidating. to his deep and almost threatening voice to his sheer size and stature, he was a force to be reckoned with… literally. so when Agalea told him about mysterious flowers showing up around her seamstress shop, Mydei didn’t think anything of it… until he saw a flower crown on a bench near his typical training spot. strange. the only people who knew about the spot were the Chrysos Heirs and you. and you weren’t known for flowers, so he thought it was a friend playing tricks on him. 

to say your plan went well was… a statement, for sure! Mydei had noticed the flower crown you left on the bench, but he didn’t see you place it. he probably thinks it’s weird how flowers are after him, you thought. but hey, if making a bouquet of flowers or making a flower crown helps you deal with stress, then so be it! you’re just doing a nice gesture, nothing more, nothing less, right?

“No, Aglaea, you don’t know who it is? Really?” Mydei asked the Goldweaver.

“Mydeimos, i think the answer you search for is right under your nose,” Aglaea replied. Mydei turned on his heel before searching for you. 

Home was great. you could relax and chill, and do whatever to your heart’s content. you’re putting together a bouquet when suddenly there’s a rap at your door. you forget to put the bouquet in your hands down before getting up and opening the door. it’s Mydei.

“I found my secret admirer,” Mydei smirks as you both look down at the bouquet in your hands. your face flushes a little bit.

“I can explain-“ you start, but Mydei cuts you off. 

“don’t bother, it’s quite endearing. there may not be a word in the Kremnoan language for love, but it would be nice if you could show me how to take care of the flowers you’ve given me throughout the years…”

The next day she was planning everything from the start of the party to the end. But i guess everything went to hell when she saw you in the crowd. The feeling of deja vu hit her when she took a longer look of your face.

“She is so attractive” she mumbled into Jades shoulder, hiding her flushed face.

“Go talk to her” she answered.

Kit blew up every chance she got to talk to you, which annoyed Jade even more. She even brought her a drink to help her relax, but it didn’t seem to work. And this is how the past hour passed.

Eventually, Jade got mad and intervened. She dragged Kit to the dance floor, where you were talking with someone and pushed her at you, making it look like an accident.

“Oh i am so sorry! Are you okay?” Kit said, her voice trembling.

“Yeah.. yes i’m okay” you answered quietly.

After a longer moment of awkward silence she asked “Do you want to.. dance with me?” her hand waiting for you to grab it.

You nodded shyly and grabbed her hand, she guided you through the crowd to get more space to dance. Her hands rested on your waist as you slowly wrapped yours around her neck, making her slightly pull you closer.

You two swayed to the music “I feel like this happened before” you said quietly, smiling softly under your nose at how absurdly it sounded.

She wished she could see the smile of yours for the rest of her life.

“Well, it’s happening now” she looked into your eyes.

“Have i seen you before?” you said as you scanned her face.

“You don’t know me?” she asked in slight disbelief.

“Should i?” you replied with a nervous chuckle.

She took your hand again and led you through the hallway of the castle, you followed her without hesitation.

“Are you gonna tell me where are we going or i should start worrying that you want to kill me” you heard her quiet laugh at your words.

While the two of you were walking, a small but meaningful to you conversation started. Just about your hobbies, interests, nothing big but you two seemed like you’ve known each others for years.

After a longer while you could see a big garden with a lot of flowers and a big tree in the middle. It was dark outside so the only source of light came from the windows.

“We shouldn’t be there! The queen’s gonna be mad” you whispered, however she didn’t seem to care.

Kit sat down under the apple tree and signalled you to come closer “You look so pretty” she said as you stood in front of her.

A slight blush decorated your face. You sat down next to Kit, her hand brushing against yours “We are gonna get in trouble” you mumbled.

She sighed and looked you, you could notice her gaze on your lips “That might sound crazy but.. with you i feel like i belong somewhere” she said, looking at the cloudless sky “and i know we don’t really know each other but i would really like to get to know you better”

“Maybe it was meant to be like that” you grabbed her hand and looked at the sky as well, “you didn’t tell me your name” your face turned to hers.

“Kit, Kit Tanthalos” she said hesitantly.

The realisation hit you immediately, you were flirting with the princess! “this is so wrong, i shouldn’t be here” you stood up as fast as you could, but she was faster to grab your hand and keep you in place.

“There is nothing wrong with this! Please.. wait here for a minute, promise me” she said, begging you to stay.

You sighed loudly and sat down under the tree again, she disappeared immediately.

Kit couldn’t believe that she forgot the gift she got you. She was never running this fast, the risk of loosing you from her sight again was too high. She grabbed it quickly and ran back to the garden.

When she got back, you saw her with a big bouquet of jasmines, yellow roses and forget me nots that she was holding. Your mouth slightly opened as you watched her get closer.

“Where did you get that?” she sat next to you and gave you the flowers.

“Save those questions for later, i still have something to give you” she showed you a pretty ring “it’s amazonite” she put it on your ring finger and kissed your hand “i hope it will always remind you of me”

“It will, thank you.. but i don’t have anything to give you” you said, feeling genuinely sad “oh! wait” you said as you took off your necklace “it was my grandmas, it’s ruby stone” you kneeled behind her and put it on, she smiled at your gesture.

“Do you like your gift? It was really hard to get” she laughed under her nose.

“Why are you doing this?” you said quietly, she looked into your eyes again.

“Sometimes, people listen to their hearts and do things that they don’t really know why they are doing” she got closer to you, one of her hands traveled to your cheek.

“I guess they will figure it out” you whispered.

Her lips brushed against yours as you closed your eyes. She laid you down and kissed softly - as if she would hurt you if she kissed harder. You deepened the kiss and put your hand on her neck what gave her more confidence. The kiss got more comfortable as you two got lost in the moment. You could feel her smile between the kisses. Nothing else existed, it felt like you have experienced this before.

When did you start writing?

I have a notebook from when I was maybe... 5? with a story in it haha that actually was even whump before I redacted that part sjdjsds. Pretty much the second I learned to read and write I was obsessed with it lolol. Just always been an English major at heart smh 😭

It was very occasional when I was a kid, but I've had ongoing WIPs since middle school when I got a phone and could write them on the bus haha. Was mostly original stuff then, but there was a lot of it.

Are there different themes or genres you enjoy reading than what you write?

I'm uncertain what this question is asking exactly, but I don't think they differ? I tend to gravitate towards the hurt/comfort content and unfortunately have not read enough non-school novels lately to have a clear answer...

Is there a writer you want to emulate or get compared to often?

I don't think so! And lol I don't know if I've ever been compared to anyone either. I do like the punchy wry-smug-sarcastic character narration that was a staple in a lot of my favorite books as a teen, but I can't name anyone in specific haha.

Can you tell me a bit about your writing space?

Lol. It varies 🤷‍♀️ usually at my slightly-messy desk locked away in my room, but sometimes in bed on my phone 😭

I like to be comfortable, and I have a weird hang-up about people looking over my shoulder so I don't ever really relax and get into a flow if I'm out in public.

What's your most effective way to muster up a muse?

My brain is a hamster on an endless wheel so it just kinda... happens. I'll do something or say something or watch something or hell, talk about something, and suddenly there's just an idea to work with. Fragments, of course, but usually talking it over with someone helps shape it into something write-worthy.

Are there any recurring themes in your writing? Do they surprise you?

Hurt/comfort, for one; particularly unwavering physical comfort from a caretaker character to another that's just too out of it to even do anything for themself. I like that sort of hazy half-conscious headspace in any way it appears, so I guess maybe themes of consciousness...? Not choosing to delve into the hut/comfort part but something something taking care of someone who can't let anyone do it any other way. Rescue, protectiveness, body horror, loss of control/autonomy/clarity, etc. usually show up a lot too. Laughing even though things hurt/even though there's really no reason to be laughing. I've discovered that every character I write usually ends up having a very wry sense of humor/smiling when it's not really appropriate, at least until I determine whether or not it actually fits them as a character lol.

What is your reason for writing?

I would die if I didn't!

How do you want to be thought about by your readers?

I just want them to like it as much as I do. Do my best to convey the vision in my head as vividly as I can I guess, and I want them to think of me as someone who can do that... if that makes any sense at all. This is a hard question!

What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?

I think my technicality and syntax-ical (?) ability is definitely what I always work to improve, and I think I have a fairly decent understanding of the flow of writing. I think I'm also very creative!

How do you feel about your own writing?

It's pretty good. Could be better; not always my best work, but I have some good ideas in there that I really am proud of :)

When you write, are you influenced by what others might enjoy reading, or do you write purely for yourself, or a mix of both?

Usually it's just for myself I guess? Maybe for people I talk to, I sometimes do a little for them, but I don't think I'd write anything my heart wasn't already in haha.

Like yes, obviously in canon it doesn't appear like it, but you get a prim, proper, old fashioned person like Seb and a fumbling bumbling toll does-his-best and wants to learn and do better, you literally get like, a QUEER VERSION OF PRIDE AND PREJUDICE!!!!

What makes me sad about them:

I think the obvious sad thing is how under appreciated the ship IS considering the arc wasn't animated, and the arc wasn't talked about as much as say the Ripper arc, the Curry Arc, the Circus Arc, the Cruiseline Arc... But hopefully following the anime, it'll pick up some traction! 🤞

Things done in fanfic that annoys me:

Well, despite my own blatant horniness at times off and on and the occasional times I can manage to write a smidgen of smut.. like in general.. the most I have seen of this ship on ao3 following ofc right after the manga arcs came out and going forward.. was just hatefucking smut. Just tons of short porn without plot where it was just Wolf giving it to Seb violently and still angrily and yes, I get that sometimes its hot for rough times especially with characters like these, but as someone who has been around and around for years... I'm like... c'mon, guys.... really? You can't think of anything beside that??? 😒 Get some new material smh...

Things I look for in fanfic:

Tbh I haven't actually had time or patience to look for fics in general but what I do like to see, and would love to see more of for Sebwolf is a natural progression into their possible relationship.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:

I have dabbled in imagining many a case where there is poly stuff going on, seeing as I hate sticking with ye olde love triangles of yester years... But if it was like, a challenge to attempt to make up a reason and plot as to them splitting or something, whether naturally or.. negatively (IT MAKES ME SAD JUST IMAGINING THAT WEH TwT) I would say Seb obviously has a few options.. like Grelle or Mey or Bard or Agni... And as for Wolf... it's hard to imagine him with anyone outside his interactions with Sebastian.. but I have seen a few takes of him finding companionship with Bard or Agni.. and Bard especially makes sense because they are both soldiers!

My happily ever after for them:

Again here and there I've explored headcanons with Sebwolf, especially involving future stuff like after the contract.. the what-ifs of Wolf finding out Seb is a demon at some point, accepting it and still staying with Seb because Seb loves him and cares about his precious daughter despite being a demon.. and maybe.. further into the future... they have a kid together too... 👀

Who is the big spoon/little spoon:

Nine times outta ten the obvious answer is WOLF IS THE BIG SPOON, SEBASTIAN THE LITTLE SPOON!!!!! Their canon heights say it all, after all! 😉 But getting creative with the possibilities, I can see some nights the poor big former secret soldier needing to be held and cuddles up close, as I wouldn't be surprised if he'd get nightmares of the events back in Germany... I would say reading English literature would be high up there, as Sebastian wants his German beau to keep improving in his English! As well as them going out together on trips to shop and sight see, so Wolf can spend time during the day with Seb + also work on his social skills! 🖤💚

Do you prefer writing one-shots or multi-chaptered fics?

one-shots, though my ao3 would beg to differ. one-shots are more fun because they're usually something that comes in a frenzy and just demand to be written. if they only could stay one-shots that would make me very happy.

3. Describe the creative process of writing a chapter/fic.

hahah well with one word it can be described as chaotic. with many words it can be described as it always starts with a scene in my head. the need to put characters in a situation. then i have to figure out how to get to that situation (and often out of it too). and that's where the problems start and things get long and complicated. i plan out everything (not in very much detail, mind) and then i don't write what i have planned out. it's a mess. i have like two different half-done versions of the last part of acoh and now i'm rethinking the plot once more and at least 5 written scenes from yksu that i don't know where to fit in. smh.

9. Do you comment on stories you read?

bring out the shame bell because the answer to this question is not enough. this is going to sound stupid but i have this idea of comments needing to be thoughtful and while that's the kind of comments that most people enjoy the most they really don't have to be more than "hey i enjoyed this story!" because that means so so much too (and also let's not forget my favourite kind of comments; the screaming in the heat of the moment ones).

um well i'd like to say i write for me and the rest is just a bonus but i am also the comints cat. i'll write either way though, i'll just enjoy it more with feedback.

I’ll use this chance to give a short answer and a long answer.

Short Answer: Probably next year.

Long Answer: MultiversePenPals.com/ExtendedEdition (whoof what a long title lol) is currently in my personal writing schedule to keep my fic priorities in check~ how fast I get through the schedule completely depends on life obviously. The biggest variable being if the words are wording and the creativity is creating. I’m currently also teaching myself to draw! Which is eating into my writing time smh.

So like yeah! Here is what you can expect to see from me in the foreseeable future:

A Spark’s Rhythm

The first few chapters need to be rewritten to be more compelling/flow better now that I’ve improved my writing skills a bit.

Ch 18 is halfway written and I’ve got a personal deadline for this chapter that may be bumping it up the list if I don’t get the words wording…

After ch 18, I’d like to get myself back on the roll of writing regularly for this fic in addition to any other fic projects.

Once the above goals are completed, then we’re back on the MultiversePenPals! My plan is to reread it, take notes with some fresh eyes, compare it to my old notes…then getting started on it :)

The Extended Edition will be in chapters, but I won’t be posting any of it until it is COMPLETELY written. I don’t want to have it out there as a wip when the original is already completed and everyone knows half of the story already 😅

What was the duck law? Was she just making stuff up as she went? Absofuckinglutely. But was it amazingly humorous? Of course it was. When Inari brought up asking about grabbing things that were higher up than their small duck body, she had an answer. "With a duck step stool, or using your wings to fly up. It's really simple if you put thought into it, Inari. and here I thought you were supposed to be the creative type. smh my head, big l for you."

"...Is that really a crime? Why would a duck do that in the first place?" Even with his own imagination, Yusuke can't envision any reason why a duck would need to ask for grapes from someone selling lemonade clearly not made from grapes, or why it would be illegal for one to do so. The stealing makes sense though, and he would, too, like to steal. "I suppose they have too much time on their wings if this is what they worry about. Perhaps being a duck with all that time wouldn't be so bad, actually."
